Driving Agricultural Vehicles
Just like the same common vehicle used in daily transportation, the use of agricultural vehicles also follow some rules and regulations. Drivers of tractors and other vehicles for agriculture need to have a license to be able to operate one. It is also a must for them to be familiar with the traffic rules in order to avoid endangering themselves and other people on the road.
Generally, in order to drive tractors, one must be at least 16 to 17 years old. One must also passed a certain driving test for agricultural drivers. As for the traffic rules, driving tractors must follow a speed limit of usually not more than 20 metres per hour. A higher speed rate is only allowed if the vehicle meets certain construction and use regulations, including the installation of a speedometer, safety glass, horns, and additional lights.
